I fucking love my local Value Village.

Seems like every time I go in there I find AMAZING things.
For example, with my magical good luck charm of thrift ~NatesSlave I found my black platform boots for 5 bucks. 5 FUCKING BUCKS . As well as one of my fav sweaters, almost all of my jeans, and all of my funky-cool belts.

Today it was all about the shoes.
I found a pair of black chuck taylor's. My size. Brand new. 15$. FUCK YEAH.
It's rather ironic as well seeing that mother had just ordered my new shoes (chucks again, but quilted vinyl(?) black with red stitching) for christmas. My board shoes are falling apart now though, so I guess getting a cheap pair that I can scratch up and not care about and a nice pair that I love is justifiable. Fuck I love my board shoes. They're like slippers for ma little pitter-patter feet, but alas, after over 2 years of running around like an escaped lunatic they are falling to pieces.

In other news I'm seriously going to start wearing my glasses less and less to prevent any further degeneration and eventually get used to the idea of getting contacts some point in the near future (most likely just before university). Only now am I really starting to get into the whole make-up and what not scene, and so when I actually do decide to dress as a girl for the day, it always disappoints me that my glasses or hair cover up most of my effort. ): I'll start not-wearing them around the house at first, and then at school when I am not taking notes in class. My goal is to be comfortable not wearing them for the night of senior prom since ~NatesSlave and her sibs are making me go as a girly-girl >.>; Personally, being able to go with or without the glasses will make flipping between genders easier and smoother for me.

btw: My hardware came in!!!! 8DDDDDDDDDDD finally. I'll be making some wrist straps tomorrow on my group-sewing day and some of the new prototype candy sweet hair accessories that I've been working on... and dying lace. I desperately need to dye some fucking lace. ARGH. And I have to change the thread on the serger too...............>.>; Curses.


I really want to design a carousel themed print. Not an applique like BTSSB did, but a silk screen print. White on pink. But I still need to assemble my screen.... argh argh argh things to do.
